This was honestly one of the grossest takeout experiences I've had. My wings and my calzone both had white hairs all over them. Finding one hair is bad enough, but there were multiple hairs in both items. I couldn't eat any of it and ended up throwing everything away. I definitely won't be ordering from here again. They really need to do a better job with cleanliness in the kitchen.

This is now my second time eating here, and I enjoy every bite! I usually order out, but the ambience is chill with music 🎶 I recommend the garlic knots because why "not" 🤭🤭 They're delicious! So are the sandwiches; I've gotten the Reuben and the Cajun Bridge, and of the two the Cajun Bridge is a personal favorite 😋 I haven't tried the pizza, so that's next on the list for the future! Come in and eat, the food is fresh and yummy!

Brooklyn Square — A Deep Disappointment Masquerading as New York Pizza Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Brooklyn Square markets itself with the confidence of a New York–style pizza institution, but my visit revealed a product and experience that fell dramatically short of that promise. Between the lackluster execution and a serious food safety issue, this was one of the most disappointing pizza outings I’ve had in recent memory. Ambiance – 2/5 The atmosphere was busy and energetic, which initially suggested popularity and strong demand. However, beyond the crowd, there was little about the space that evoked the charm or authenticity of a true New York pizzeria. It felt more commercial than crafted. Authenticity – 1/5 Let’s address the core claim: this is not New York–style pizza. The crust lacked the structural integrity and chew you’d expect from a proper slice. It didn’t fold correctly, didn’t carry that thin-yet-resilient texture, and lacked the subtle char and balance that define authentic NY pizza. It was just simply a very thin pizza. This places sells New York food in la. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their cheese ricotta balls, New York barbecue chicken slice, pepperoni honey dinero square, spicy pepperoni square, New York pastrami sando, black and white cookie, brownie, and New York crumb cake. The cheese balls had a crisp exterior with a savory cheesy interior and came with like a marinara cheese sauce. Pretty yummy. All the pizza slices were HUGE. Legit could cut them all in half. The New York barbecue chicken one had a thin chewy yet crisp crust with a decent amount of chicken and onions with lots of sweet tangy barbecue sauce drizzled on top. It also was a bit spicy from some jalapeños which I liked. The pepperoni honey dinero square had a fluffy bready crust with sweet dollops of ricotta and honey drizzle cut with some savory pepperoni cups. Could use a bit more pepperoni. The spicy pepperoni had a savory, tart, slightly spicy tomato sauce, with crispy cupped pepperoni. I think the dough was still raw tho-even after reheating. ⭐ One star — because zero isn’t an option. We waited over an hour for a single pizza 🍕 in an almost empty restaurant. The two cashiers — one African American and one with a bun — were extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. They handed us a pepperoni pizza with no pepperoni after an hour of waiting. When we pointed it out, they casually said it was a mistake and offered a refund. We asked them to at least add the missing topping — we were starving — and they seemed annoyed. Then, to top it all off, they turned off the lights in our faces while we were still eating, just because they wanted to close. 😤 The food is average at best and the service is an absolute disgrace. 🛑 Never coming back. Avoid this place.
